SweepAI ("we", "our", "us") is a Shopify application operated by SweepAI. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

When you install and use SweepAI, we collect:

• Shopify Payments payout history - payout amounts, dates, currency, and status from the Shopify Payments API. This is read-only access; we cannot initiate payments or modify your account.
• Typical checking account balance - a single number you provide during onboarding to calibrate your idle cash estimate.
• Store information - your Shopify store domain and name, used to identify your account.

We do not collect personal financial information such as bank account numbers, credit card details, or login credentials for any financial institution.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect exclusively to:

• Calculate your Cash Efficiency Score and missed yield estimate
• Generate personalized recommendations to improve your cash management
• Produce weekly email digest reports (when enabled)
• Track your score over time so you can monitor progress

3. Data We Do Not Sell

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose. Your financial data is used solely to provide the SweepAI service to you.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers with encrypted connections. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your Shopify app installation is active. If you uninstall SweepAI, we will delete your payout data, analysis results, and account information within 30 days. You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

SweepAI uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate plain-language financial insights. When this feature is active, aggregated (not raw) financial metrics are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about your store
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Uninstall the app at any time, which stops all data collection

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email address associated with your Shopify store.
